No Reservations (Scott Hicks, 2007) is about a perfectionist chef Kate (Catherine Zeta-Jones) who suddenly has to take care of her niece (starring role for little Abigail Breslin). Her life is turned upside down and we follow her in the adjustments she has to make in her kitchen - with a new sous chef - and in her private life. A film about: passion for perfection, work-life balance, rivalry and love. And with the tastiest dishes.
The film is a remake of the German film Bella Martha, also known as Mostly Martha.

Food obviously plays a big role in both the restaurant (chic Italian / French) and at home with her niece (Italian food "di mama"). We serve a tasting of dishes that can be seen and / or tasted well in the film. You need a blindfold for one dish!

What you see is what you eat, at the same time. The culinary script of Cinema Culinair is leading for the chef and his crew: timing is of the essence.
Good film + good food + great timing. The point is in the latter. One example. When chef Kate in the film tastes a cognac sauce blindfolded at 1 hour, 18 minutes and 34 seconds, then we want you to do the same. One minute earlier or later makes all the difference between good and fabulous! In the end it’s all about the extrasensory sensation; you see, hear, taste, smell and feel the film.
