GOOD FILM
A cool chef, played by Bradley Cooper, once found himself in the kitchen world of Paris (you know: booze, drugs and women) and after years of penance arrives in London to earn a third star. However, that is not easy. He meets old rivals and betrayed friends, he does not want to cook modern (= sous vide) and expresses his frustrations in a Gordon Ramsay way: cursing and throwing plates. The film is about his return to the normal world and some humanity in his existence. A star cast full of sympathetic opponents (Daniel Brühl, Omar Sy, Matthew Rhys) and the dishes are truly fan-tas-tic.
GOOD FOOD
The dishes are very tasty and beautifully photographed. The culinary director was none other than Marcus Wareing, British top chef, working in Los Angeles. It features dishes from modern French cuisine, as you might expect in London - where the film is set. Really a film you have to taste.

GREAT TIMING
Good film + good food + great timing. The point is in the latter. One example. When Adam Jones (Bradley Cooper) tastes a pasta cacio e pepe at minute 5, we want our guests to do the same. One minute earlier or later makes all the difference between good and fabulous! In the end it’s all about the extrasensory sensation; you see, hear, taste, smell and feel the film.
