SHOWS

There are no shows during the summertime, we are currently busy planning events in the fall.

Do you want to be notified when new shows or take aways come up for sale? Subscribe to our newsletter.

Our concept is "what you see is what you eat". In other words: eat exactly the dishes as in the film (including fish & meat).

If you have specific allergies, please see this allergen list so you know which course(s) to skip. When in doubt, email us at info@cinemaculinair.nl

HOW DOES IT WORK?

WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU EAT

Some films you shouldn't just see, you should taste them! At Cinema Culinair you watch films such as Chef, Julie & Julia, Tampopo or La Grande Bouffe and eat exactly the same dishes as in the film. Accurate to the second, so what you see is what you eat. You cannot experience a film more intense than this. Enjoy it with all your senses.

FILM & DINNER EVENT

At the events you can enjoy a film and a dinner in beautiful halls, such as the Kurhaus in Scheveningen and the WTC in Rotterdam. With a large movie screen, good sound, small tables and delicious dishes prepared by the chef. After reception, the light is dimmed and the film starts. Thirty seconds before each eating moment in the film, everyone gets the same dish. Then a banner appears that counts down: 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 and then you taste. We do that about six to seven times in the film. See what you eat. Eat what you see.

TAKE AWAY

Every now and then we offer Cinema Culinair take aways, perfect for enjoying our concept at home.

You can pick up a take away dinner at one of our partner restaurants. You heat up the food according to the supplied clear instructions, stream the film (not included) and eat the food at the indicated time. A really lovely evening at home!

The scene and setting are world famous: Sally (Meg Ryan) pretends to have an orgasm in the middle of Katz's Delicatessen and a woman sitting at a table next to them makes one of the greatest movie quotes ever; "I'll have what she's having."
